MOBILE TESTERS – QUALITY ASSURANCE

Mobile Tester – Quality Analyst shall be responsible for testing mobile applications upon analyzing related requirement specifications document for new features or customizations to existing ones. The Mobile Tester shall design full coverage test cases and scenarios for the application under test and report final test results to project stakeholders as well as reporting software defects to application developers and third parties.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Analyse software requirements specification document and extract use cases
• Design QA scenarios, test cases and report the results
• Document software defects, using Microsoft Visual Studio or designated template
• Install mobile apps on Apple and Android devices and perform testing
• Monitor bug resolution and follow up with bug reporting cycles
• Handle testing environment related setup and configurations
• Reproduce bugs reported by clients/business
• System testing; verify that new features integrate with existing functionalities
• Integration testing; verify that different systems interact successfully
• Provide application based trainings to other staff from different teams
• Designing, implementing and maintaining automation tests for the QA team using Test automation tools.

Role Requirements:
• Recognised Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Minimum three years of testing experience
• Experience in testing mobile applications is a must
• Fundamental knowledge of software development lifecycles
• Proven track record of automated testing using HP Quick Test Pro or similar tools
•  The ability to work to strict deadlines and in a distributed team setting
• Customer service orientation with the ability to manage relationships with internal customers
• Understanding of Mobile App development processes
• Ability to automate the manual testing as much as possible and fully document it
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Organization skills and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent investigation and analytical skills
• Self-learner and able to acquire knowledge quickly
• Must be flexible to work depending on business needs and changing priorities
Preferred requirements:
• Knowledge in testing tools and bug tracking
• Previous experience working within the Betting/Gaming  industry is desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of Performance Testing tools
• Experience in liaising with offshore teams
• Interest in Online Games
